The Community Representative Council consists of each representative who has been selected to represent a local community on this council. In February of 2004 the MKP Project Council empowered a transition team to continue the work of the Multicultural Resource Team in the form of a Council consisting of center representatives, Isms and Issues presenters, and all who share the passion to promote diverse groups of men in our communities.

Every man in our extended MKP Community is a potential stakeholder and constituent in the MKP Multicultural Council as we believe that every interaction is cross-cultural. As such, our constituency is fluid and grows with each workshop, presentation, or interaction our members make in their respective communities. The Multicultural Council seeks to support communities in mission with respect to MKP’s core value of multiculturalism. The elected Chair of the Multicultural Council have a voting seat on the Project Council and the MKP Executive Committee and the MCC provides support and consultation at all levels of the organization.

The Mankind Project is a community-based non-profit organization that facilitates personal missions towards changing the participant’s world in a good way. We believe that the work of the one affects the world of the many, and by promoting core values like accountability, integrity, honesty, and multiculturalism, we can bridge the gaps of our culture and make it safer for ourselves and our children.
